2019 Xiamen International Marathon

"Running in love with a city", 2019 C&D Xiamen Marathon started at 7:30 am on January 6th. A total of more than 36,000 runners signed up. The actual number of participants was 28,208, including 46 invited athletes. The 37 outstanding domestic players gathered in Egret Island and ran on the 42.195-kilometer high-quality Xiamen-Marathon track, which perfectly demonstrated the marathon spirit of perseverance, never giving up, and courage to challenge.
Dejene Debela Gonfa successfully defended the Xiamen Marathon men's race championship by a nose in 2 hours, 9 minutes and 26 seconds. On the women's side, Medina Deme Armino won the women's race in 2 hours, 27 minutes and 25 seconds. They are both from Ethiopia.
Xiamen Marathon was not just a game. It was also a show. Some participants wore characteristic costumes. Do not care about others' opinions. The most important thing is to live happily and do what you like.
