Brief introduction of V-TYPE BALL VALVE


V-type ball valve is a kind of ball valve. Its closing part is a V-shaped opening on the ball. The V-shaped opening has a sharp edge. During the rotation of the ball, there is a wiping effect between the closing parts, which has strong cutting force. The V-shaped opening and the valve seat form a fan-shaped area. During the rotation process, the cross-sectional area of the flow channel can be changed to form an accurate regulation of the medium. The sealing performance is the same as that of ordinary ball valves, which makes it have both regulation and switching functions. It is matched with pneumatic or electric actuators and is widely used in automatic control systems of  industrial process.

V-type ball valve is a trunnion mounted ball valve, and it is also a single-seat sealed ball valve. The regulation performance is the best among all ball valves, the flow characteristics are in equal percentages, and the regulating ratio is 100: 1. It has a shearing effect between the V-shaped cutout and the metal valve seat, which is especially suitable for media containing fibers, tiny solid particles, slurry, etc.

Features of V-type ball valves:
1. Integral structure of the valve body: integral side-entry structure, the structure is strong, and not easy to cause deformation and leakage.
2. Self-lubricating bearings: The upper and lower self-lubricating bearings are installed in the valve body. The contact area with the valve stem is large, the bearing capacity is high, the friction coefficient is small, and the torque of the valve is reduced.
3. Economical and practical: The valve body is light in weight, the stem torque is small, and the corresponding specifications of pneumatic or electric actuators are small. Compared with other types of regulating valves, it is quite economical.
4. Wide range of media adaptation: Due to the shearing force between the V-shaped opening and the valve seat, and the smooth roundness of the valve's internal cavity flow path, the medium is not easy to accumulate in the internal cavity, so it is more suitable for liquid media in addition to system control with fiber and solid particle media.
5. Precise control of small flow: Through the processing of special V-shaped openings of small-caliber spools, precise control of small CV valves can be achieved.
