Storage Method of Electric Butterfly Valve


Electric butterfly valve is consist of electric actuator and butterfly valve, so that it owns both advantages of simple operation and plain structure, widely used in chemical engineering, pharmaceuticals industry, etc. With the help of electric actuator, works of butterfly valve reach a higher stage of development.

Working principles of electric butterfly valve: drive the valve rod by power driving equipment, turning the butterfly plate 90 degree to open and close the valve. The working principles of electric actuator is rarely simple, just like shavers in our daily life. The power comes from electricity, which drives the disc to open and close the valve, leading to an effect of flow or stop of fluid.

Electric acturator can be classified into types of switching mode and regulating mode. The former can complete an openning or close, while the latter plays a role of regulating flow at a precise millesimal degree, which is more expensive at market price. As equipements used in the pipe, valves are often hiden in places where is not practical to be examined, so that there exsists response signal.

Regulating type of electric butterfly valve carries response signal in it, while switching type is equiped according to customers' specific requirements. Hereon, we introduce some store method of electric butterfly valves.

1. It should be stored in a dry and ventilated indoor place, rather than in the open air. Sealing ring should not contact with oily material to avoid aging.
2. Storing and transportation.
A. Ends of channels should be covered with lids, preventing dust and corrosion to keep clean.
B. Connecting surfaces at both the end of the electric butterfly valve should be cleaned and then smeared antirust agents.
3. Electric butterfly valves stored over 18 months should be examined again before the application to ensure complete structure and function.
4. When positioning electric butterfly valve, one should make sure that electric equipment not be squeezed and terminal junction not be spoiled. Prevent the equipment away from corrosive materials. Beware of moving lightly to avoid the damage of electronic components and mechanical parts.
