How to Choose the Valve According to the Industry? (Part One)

1. Valves for Urban Gas: Urban gas accounts for 22% of the total natural gas market. It mainly needs ball valves, plug valves, pressure relief valves and safety valves.
2. Valves for Urban Heating: In urban heating systems, a large number of metal sealed butterfly valves, horizontal balance valves and directly buried ball valves are needed. This kind of valve can solve the problem of vertical and horizontal hydraulic imbalance of the pipeline, and achieve the purpose of energy saving and heat balance.
3. Valves for Urban Construction: Urban construction systems generally use low-pressure valves. Environmentally friendly rubber plate valves, balance valves, center line butterfly valves and metal seal butterfly valves are gradually replacing low-pressure iron gate valves. Urban construction is developing in the direction of environmental protection and energy conservation.
4. Valves for Environmental Protection: In the environmental protection system, the water supply system mainly uses the center line butterfly valves, soft sealed gate valves, ball valves and exhaust valves; the sewage treatment system mainly uses soft sealed gate valves and butterfly valves.
5. Valves for Long Distance Pipelines: Long distance pipelines are mainly used for crude oil, petroleum products and natural pipelines. Generally, forged steel three-piece full bore ball valves, sulfur resistant flat gate valves, safety valves and check valves will be used for this kind of pipeline.
6. Valves for Power Stations: The construction of the power station is developing in the direction of large scales, so large-diameter and high-pressure valves are needed, such as safety valves, pressure relief valves, globe valves, gate valves, butterfly valves, emergency shut-off valves, flow control valves and spherical sealing instrument globe valves.
7. Valves for Metallurgy: The metallurgical industry mainly needs wear-resistant slurry valves and regulating drain valves; the steelmaking industry mainly requires metal sealed ball valves, butterfly valves, oxidation ball valves, globe valves and four-way directional valves.
8. Valves for Offshore Platforms: With the development of offshore oil field exploitation, the demand for valves used for offshore platforms is also gradually increasing. Offshore platforms require shut-off ball valves, check valves and multi-way valves.
9. Valves for Food and Medicine: Stainless steel ball valves, non-toxic plastic ball valves and butterfly valves are mainly used.
